Meals on Wheels is a community service that began in May 1999, delivering meals to sick parish members.

St Barnabas has had the philosophy right from the beginning that we will deliver an attractive, nutritious meal – a hot meal on a hot plate ready to eat.

We understand that for some older people, malnutrition and social isolation are often reasons for becoming unwell, so when we started the meal service our aim was, and remains to this day, to keep people well in the community and give them every opportunity to maintain independent living in their own homes.

“I came that they may have life, and have it abundantly"
John, 10.10
